Meet Vusi Sindane, The crazy cyclist

Vusi Sindane is the founder and promoter of this initiative.  On 13 April, he cycled what would become 3257km from Musina to Cape Town.  The mission was to raise funds for 10,000 school shoes.

While the cycling challenge is complete, the journey to raise funds continues.  Join our community of givers and volunteers to help raise funds for school shoes.

How we collect and deliver school shoes

This is a collaboration between Vusi Sindane (through Crazy for Group NPC) and Barefootnomore™

Barefootnomore is a company that manufacturers school shoes using various recycles plastics and petrochemical byproducts.  Their factory is located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Vusi Sindane is a crazy cyclist and philanthropist who raises funds from the public and companies for school shoes.  The funds are transferred to Barefootnomore, which issues tax certificates to the donors and delivers school shoes to schools.

Depending on the size of your donation, you can choose a school and arrange an activation for your company or organisation to participate in the delivery of school shoes.

Each pair costs R100 (delivered to a school).  If you want to donate actual shoes (instead of money), feel free to contact us.  Please note that we only accept quantities of 100 school shoes or more with this option.
